This morning,at a splendidly late 0900, LB stirred. I heard the soft shuffle of feet(which is not the usual "thump, thump, thump"). Then I heard a light click on in the water closet. I heard her pick up her toilet seat, scoot her stool in place and climb on. I was sure I was going to hear fussing now, that's the normal course of these things, but instead I hear her getting her pants off... Surely, the fussing will come now, but instead I hear her snaps popping as she takes off her diaper. I couldn't have been more proud! She had been going on her on without help before she turned two, but after her daddy left from R&R she had a complete regression. We are now back on track. And what's more she has started showing promise in going in public bathrooms as well.
Past our lovely morning triumph, I took her to her room and let her pick out some pajamas. She had a late night with some friends at Megaplay and was asleep when I got her home. She was still in yesterday's clothes, all the way down to her hair bow. I opened the drawer for her, and she did her usual routine of touching every single pair. She finally poked a pair and said"Strawcake" (which is her strawberry shortcake pair). She had a small fuss, after getting into her pajamas that she couldn't get her "Abby shoe" on( her Abby Cadabby sneakers), but I managed to convince her to wear slippers instead. I ran to take the dog out and she followed and then we went back upstairs and I put in our movie. We always watch a movie together in the morning on either Saturday or Sunday. Today we watched "Wall-E". I got out our usual movie snacks, grapes and trail mix. At first, she seemed scared of the robots even telling me "scared", but she warmed up fast and even started to reach out to the screen and call to them. She got worried for them several times too and would ask me, "robots?" in a worried fashion. It's always great to have a nice cuddly morning. It was mostly an uneventful day for us. She was very funny about pulling her pants up almost to her chest today, plus they would be wrong side out, so the tag was sticking out. I wish I would've gotten a picture, because she looked hilarious. She learned some new words today and cleared up some. She now, clearly says, "what happened"? She also told me when I was putting her to bed, "I am a builder". She is hopelessly in love with "Bob the Builder" and Deigo.

Day one of potty training
Lillie and I went on post today and did some shopping. Needless to say she got quite spoiled. I fell down the stairs today, and I really wanted to cuddle with something tonight lol, so I went and found the cutest, softest, fluffiest teddy bear and make Lillie's day. We started out in one of her car carts, but the seat belt didn't work and we both agreed that it wasn't going to work. Also, Lillie got a ton of books, I found a lady selling a whole bag of baby books for $15. She got a pretzel to snack on while mommy got the groceries bought. We got the mail, where she played with this adorable little boy. He chased her around the post office, and they were both grinning and laughing. We headed to the car care center, where she made the lady at the counter laugh so hard and she danced around and got into everything. Then we came home and she played a little zoola on the ipad, and then took herself a nap.
When she got up from her nap she had a snack and wore some potty training pants. We had three accidents. One almost pee on the potty, but instead on mommy's lap. She had fun running around the living room in her new hat, and she was really loving having all her new books read to her. She was just bringing them to me, on after another.
Then we got ready for bed, she got into her Hello Kitty nightgown and we read her current "big girl book". I get her a book that she can't have, at the library every week, because its not a board book so she can tear up the pages, and we read it every night before bed for that week.

Little Princess' return!
Sorry we have been off for so long! In this time, our girl has had some adventures. She is 19 months old now and unfortunately, her daddy has deployed to Afghanistan.
Last night was a great night, Lillie slept the night. She got up rather late, which allowed mommy to get a couple of things done while she was still sleeping. She got webcam with her daddy. She gave him kissies, smiled, laughed and typed to him. She used the word "please" today. She also said "cheese", "nice" "shoes" and probably some more new words that mommy doesn't remember. She took a small nap. Then, she played happily most of the day. She got a little cranky at the end of the day. In short, we had a nice quiet day at the house. Here are some pictures:
This was her inspecting the camera as mommy took her photo. Normally accompanying this is a very close up photo of her finger.
she is in love with this dog and insists on taking it almost everywhere.

Daily life
Lillie slept all night last night, so I think that she is feeling better from her allergies. She woke up once at 5:30 but I think that she just wants to see her daddy (that's when he is up getting ready for work). She got up at 0810 and in a great mood. She didn't have an accident last night, which is wonderful. We did out usual routine, including breakfast. She insisted on taking her stuffed toy (passed down from mommy, my first Valentine's gift from daddy) Rufus the dog into her high chair and holding onto him as she ate her Cheerios, diced ham, cheese, and yogurt snacks. She also had some yogurt, the German Activia because I have been told its great for your immune system. She doesn't ever really eat a lot of her yogurt. Her appetite is still a little off, so I have added a snack right before nap time. The doctor said that she used to be in the 100 percentile of her weight but is now down to 98, partially, I am sure, due to her walking but also due to her recent lack off appetite. Mommy drank her coffee and read a chapter while she stood in front of me and "read" herself a book. Then I put her in her swimsuit so that I could shower. She stays in the bath tub and plays with her water toys. I always turn the facet handles off as much as I can but I worry that she is going to find the strength to turn them so I am looking for a way to baby proof them. Anyone have any suggestions? She mostly fussed about not being in the shower with me and kept trying to climb in, lol. (Sorry no pictures of her this morning, Mommy's Iphone, her currently, only working camera, was a 3 % battery this morning, and had to charge). Then she had a little time in her Exersaucer, but earned herself a time out for being bad while I got dressed and dried my hair. Then we had our snack and off to her nap. :)

Happy Ten Months, L.B.!
Today I woke her up at 0800 and got her ready and we headed out to Amberg with Steph S. and Kendall. I took some pictures of her when I was getting her ready. She still wasn't feeling so great but her nose wasn't running like it was yesterday.
Playing with her baby doll, that she was calling "duck" her new word.
She is a crawling fiend.
Little Linus! LOL
haha, the perfect facebook profile picture.
beautiful baby blues.
Then I dressed her.
she likes to peel the pieces off of her play mat.
what I normally see.
my beautiful baby girl
"WHAT??" LOL
First we hit McDonalds.
This was the thing that Kendall's balloon was on, but it popped.
Lillie playing with Kendall's balloon.
We headed out and hit a shoe store, where Lillie bug got herself a nice pair of boots. She had her very first foot measuring experience, she wears a 20 in European shoe. She smiled and freaked out when she saw them.
Then we went to a huge store where there was all kinds of things, but Lillie didn't get anything.
Then we went to a little toy store where mommy went a little wild, and Lillie bug definitely cleaned up.
She got a little reindeer suit and reindeer hat and shoes, but the pictures won't download so you'll have to wait to see them.
And two toys!
This is a learning table. It has two language settings. One is German and the other is for a German speaker to learn English. I am so excited about it. It has a laptop that does the abcs, a piano that does the colors, a book that talks about animals, and a phone that does numbers.
This is a little fake CD player. it comes with these plastic cds to put in that play music and without them it sings all kinds of songs in German.
Then we headed home and hung out for a while, Lillie had a nap and then was really grouchy. Then she got into her usual spirits and played for a while.
she really wasn't feeling as well, and she was getting tired but still all smiles.
I love her little pointed toe!
